Install the IPTV Australia app — 5 minutes

Two paths: Firestick / Android TV (use the Downloader code) or Android phone / tablet (direct APK). iOS Safari users: a Firestick is the simplest path — they’re US$99 from Bing Lee or Officeworks.

For Firestick + Android TV

Install via aftv Downloader

  1. Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Set Apps from Unknown Sources = ON. (On Android TV: Security & Restrictions → install from unknown sources for the Downloader app.)
  2. Open the Amazon Appstore (Firestick) or Google Play (Android TV). Search Downloader by AFTVnews. Install it.
  3. Open Downloader. In the URL box, type the IPTV Australia code: 8932154 (or visit aftv.news/8932154).
  4. The IPTV Australia APK downloads in about 30 seconds. Tap Install.
  5. Open the IPTV Australia app from your home screen. Paste your prepay code. Done.

Total time: under 5 minutes including downloads. Works on every Firestick generation, Fire TV Cube, Nvidia Shield, Mecool, Chromecast TV, Hisense Android TV.

For Android phone or tablet

Direct APK install

  1. On your phone, open Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → enable for Chrome (or your browser).
  2. Tap the download button below.
  3. Open the downloaded APK and tap Install.
  4. Open the IPTV Australia app, paste your prepay code, watch.

Tip: cast your phone to the TV via Chromecast or use an HDMI adapter. Or use a Firestick (recommended).

Got a Samsung, LG or iPhone?

IPTV Australia is an Android-family app. The cleanest path is a Firestick (around US$99) plugged into your TV’s HDMI port — this works regardless of TV brand. Same setup as above.

Step 3

Install the Downloader app

  1. On your Firestick home screen, click the Find / Search icon (magnifying glass). Type ‘Downloader’ and select the app by AFTVnews (orange icon). Click Download, then Open. This app lets you sideload the IPTV Australia player.
Step 4

Enter the install code

  1. In the Downloader app URL bar, type the short code we send you after purchase (or your free trial signup). The app downloads and installs automatically in about 60 seconds. If prompted ‘install from unknown sources,’ click Allow — this is normal for Android sideloading.
Step 5

Open the IPTV Australia app

  1. Find the app in your Firestick Your Apps & Channels list. Open it. You’ll see a login screen asking for your activation code.

Paste your prepay code

  1. Check your email and WhatsApp — your prepay code arrives within 5 minutes of payment. Copy the code, paste it into the app login screen, and click Activate. Your channel list loads in under 30 seconds.
Step 7

Set up your favourites

  1. Browse the channel guide by category (Sports, Movies, News, Kids, International). Long-press the Select button on any channel to add it to Favourites. The app remembers your preferences across sessions.
Step 8 — Optional

Install on a second device

  1. If you have a multi-connection plan, install the same app on your phone or tablet. Use the same activation code — each device counts as one connection. Check Settings > Connections to see how many you’re using.
